FAQ / RATES
What is the rate for a photo shoot?
The rate for a shoot is $350/hour with a two hour minimum absolutely necessary for lighting set-up. Three hours is recommended to achieve all the desired looks and make the full vision come to life. The rate for a half day (4-6 hours) of shooting is a flat rate of $1500 and a full day (6-8 hours) of shooting is $2000.
Do you assist with artistic direction/styling?
We will usually shoot at a rented studio or a hotel room, or an outside location if the artistic direction calls for it! There is a home studio available with plain backdrops and limited lighting equipment but is not ideal for more developed concepts. Check out a list of favorite NYC-based studios and hotels here if you don’t already have something in mind.
Is editing an additional cost?
Editing is included in the rate with 3-5 selects per look getting a full round of editing. The amount of edited final images will vary depending on length of shoot and the amount of looks, however, more extensive editing such as large tattoo removal, face blurring, etc. will be an additional charge. You will receive all of the images in low-res and will make the selects yourself. I will then edit only your final selects.
Where will we shoot?
Absolutely! If you already have a solid idea flushed out, I am more than happy to simply assist in bringing your vision to life, however if you’re a bit lost, I can 100% help you develop a theme/concept for your shoot. Based on our conversations, and the references provided, I will always develop a mood board and shot list for the shoot. I do not provide styling, however I can suggest what pieces you already have that may work for the concept, and if you want to get a full editorial experience, I can outsource a professional stylist and MUA.
Do you shoot digital or film?
Both! I provide both mediums, and a BTS video as well. However, my default format for shooting is prioritizing digital while getting some film shots of every look as well. You will receive the best film selects as well as the digital, but film will receive less editing.
